Cars in German City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Authorities reported they were alerted by a man who discovered a vehicle in Hanau smeared with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were defaced, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they stated in a official communication.

Officers state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored fluid.

The substance had been placed in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Officers then discovered numerous other marked vehicles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials say initial examinations suggest the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no lead as to its origin; authorities are not yet aware of any physical harm in relation with the incident," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were attempting "to solve the case" and have asked to the residents for tips.

An important representative commented the incident rendered him without words and needed to be solved quickly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist attack in 2020," he wrote on online, referring to the murder of nine people by a shooter focusing on residents of immigrant origin in five years prior.
